To pair the Cree Lighting CMB11-40W-AL-9TW-GL Smart LED Vintage Glass Filament Bulb with the app, follow these steps:
1. Download the Cree Lighting app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Register an account on the Cree Lighting app by entering your email address and verification code.
3. Create a password for your account.
4. Enable location services and Bluetooth when prompted.
5. Install the bulb in the socket and make sure it starts slowly flashing to indicate pairing mode. If it's not flashing, you may need to reset the bulb.
6. Open the Cree Lighting app and tap the "+" sign in the upper right-hand corner of the Home screen.
7. The bulb you want to pair should appear on the screen. Tap "Next."
8. Select the Wi-Fi network your phone is connected to and enter the password if required.
9. The Cree Lighting app will add your bulb to the app.
10. You can rename your bulb by tapping the pencil icon next to the name and then clicking "Done."
Note: Make sure you are connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network as the bulbs are not compatible with 5GHz networks. If your router supports both bands but only displays one Wi-Fi name, refer to the Wireless Router Guide provided in the manual for further assistance.
If you encounter any issues, you can reset the bulb by turning it off and on four times until it starts slowly flashing. Then, return to the pairing instructions.
