To set up the Ring Stick Up Cam Elite, follow these steps:
1. Download the Ring app from the app store or visit ring.com/app.
2. Write down your Wi-Fi password as you will need it during setup.
3. Slide off the bottom cover of the camera.
4. Choose how to power the camera:
- For indoor use, you can either plug it into a socket using the included USB cable and power supply, or use the Ring PoE Adapter for Power over Ethernet.
- For outdoor use, use the PoE Adapter and run an Ethernet cable from indoors to the camera.
5. In the Ring app, select "Set Up a Device" and follow the instructions for Security Cams.
6. After setup, tap the Live View button in the app to see live video from your Stick-Up Cam.
7. If the blue light on the camera is flashing after setup, it means it's updating its software. Do not unplug the camera during this process.
