We advise cleaning the ELS PET Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box at least once a week. However, the frequency of cleaning can be increased if you have multiple cats using the litter box. Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene for your cat. Additionally, you can monitor the litter level in real-time through the ELS PET APP to ensure that the litter box is not overfilled. The garbage receptacle in the litter box can hold approximately one week's worth of waste, but it is recommended to dispose of it every other day or when nearly full for optimal cleanliness.
