To set up multiple Mr Beams MBN342 Wireless Motion Sensing Spotlights to work together on the same network, follow these steps:
1. Insert batteries: Open the battery compartment of each spotlight by removing the front cover and inserting 3 D-Cell batteries. Make sure the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity.
2. Choose a group or channel: Each spotlight has dipswitches next to the battery compartment. Set the dipswitches to the same position for all spotlights that you want to work together. This ensures they are on the same channel.
3. Activate the network: Spotlights set to the same group and within a range of 150 feet of each other will automatically work together. Once the batteries are inserted and the dipswitches are set, the spotlights will communicate with each other and activate simultaneously when any spotlight detects motion.
Note: It is important to use new alkaline D-Cell batteries with a 1.5V rating for optimal performance. Do not mix old and new batteries, as it may cause the lights to malfunction.
