Cleaning the air filter is an important maintenance task for optimal performance of your air conditioner. Here's how to clean the air filter:
1. Turn off the air conditioner and unplug it from the power source.
2. Locate the front grille of the air conditioner and remove it.
3. Slide out the air filter from the left side of the unit.
4. Clean the filter with warm, soapy water. Gently scrub the filter to remove any dirt or debris.
5. Rinse the filter thoroughly with water and let it dry completely.
6. Once the filter is dry, slide it back into the air conditioner from the left side.
7. Reattach the front grille to the unit.
8. Plug in the air conditioner and turn it on.
It is recommended to clean the air filter at least every 30 days or more often if necessary. A dirty air filter can restrict airflow and reduce the cooling efficiency of the air conditioner.
