Cleaning the air filter is an important maintenance task for your air conditioner. To clean the air filter, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the air conditioner and unplug it from the power source.
2. Locate the air filter behind the front grille of the unit.
3. Slide the filter out from the left side of the unit.
4. Clean the filter with warm, soapy water. Gently scrub the filter to remove any dirt or debris.
5. Rinse the filter thoroughly with water and let it dry completely before reinstalling.
6. Once the filter is dry, slide it back into the unit from the left side.
7. Make sure the filter is securely in place before turning on the air conditioner.
It is recommended to clean the air filter at least every 30 days or more often if necessary. A dirty filter can restrict airflow and reduce the cooling efficiency of the air conditioner.
