To clean the air filter, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the air conditioner and unplug it from the power source.
2. Locate the front grille of the air conditioner and remove it.
3. Slide the air filter out from the left side of the unit.
4. Clean the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse it thoroughly and let it dry completely before reinstalling.
5. Do not clean the filter in a dishwasher.
6. Once the filter is dry, slide it back into the unit from the left side.
7. Reinstall the front grille.
8. Plug in the air conditioner and turn it on.
It is recommended to clean the air filter at least every 30 days or more often if necessary. Operating the air conditioner without a filter can reduce its performance.
