To clean the air filter, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the air conditioner and unplug it from the power source.
2. Locate the front grille of the air conditioner and remove it.
3. Slide the air filter out from the left side of the unit.
4. Clean the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse it thoroughly and let it dry completely before reinstalling.
5. Do not clean the filter in a dishwasher.
6. Once the filter is dry, slide it back into the unit from the left side.
7. Reinstall the front grille.
8. It is important not to operate the air conditioner without a filter, as dirt and lint can clog the unit and reduce its performance.
