To connect the PETLIBRO Automatic Cat Feeder to Wi-Fi, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the Bluetooth on your mobile device is turned on before the connection.
2. Ensure that you are using the feeder indoors to avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
3. The feeder can only connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. If your Wi-Fi is set to 5GHz only, you will need to set it to be compatible with 2.4GHz mode.
4. The Wi-Fi password should be composed of no more than 12 digits and letters. Special symbols are not supported.
5. Keep the feeder close to the router. It is recommended to have a distance of up to 6 meters without any wall barriers.
6. If the configuration fails, power off the feeder by pressing and holding the Reset button for 6 seconds. Then wait for about 2 minutes to re-configure.
To connect via the app, follow these steps:
1. Open the app and select the Home page.
2. Tap on "Add Device" or "+" in the upper right corner.
3. Choose "PLAF101 Wi-Fi Feeder" from the options.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen and confirm that the Wi-Fi indicator on the feeder is flashing.
5. Select "Bluetooth" on the top right corner of the screen.
6. Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
7. Check if the indicator on the feeder flashes once every 0.5 seconds.
8. Click "Next" after checking. If the indicator doesn't flash, click "Reset Device Step by Step" and complete the steps.
9. Add the device "PLAF101" by entering your Wi-Fi account and password. Make sure to connect to a 2.4GHz network.
Once the feeder is successfully connected to Wi-Fi, you can control it through the app and set up meal times and portions for your pet.
