To connect the LUX Kono KN-S-MG1 thermostat to your wireless network, follow these steps:
1. After your thermostat powers up, it will guide you through the initial system configuration. Use the xxxx to change options and press the xxxx to confirm your selection.
2. Set your system type by selecting "F" for Furnace or Boiler, or "HP" for Heat Pump.
3. Set the fan type to Gas (most common), Electric (for systems without gas or oil), or Boiler (no fan).
4. Set the valve type to "O" or "B" based on the photo of your wiring.
5. After confirming your system settings, the thermostat will ask if you would like to connect to the network. Select "ON" to begin the connection or "OFF" to connect later.
6. If you wish to connect, make sure you have downloaded the LUX Products App to your smartphone and created an account.
7. Select "ON" and the thermostat will display "01". Then select "iOS" if you are using an Apple device or "And" if you are using an Android device.
8. For iOS devices, open the LUX App, tap the "+" icon to add a new accessory, and select the accessory ID that starts with LUX KONO. Follow the instructions in the app and scan the HomeKit Code under the Décor-snap cover.
9. For Android devices, open the LUX App, tap the "+" icon to add a new thermostat. Use your phone's WiFi settings to join your LUX KONO's WiFi network. After connecting, select your home WiFi network from the list and enter your password.
10. Once the thermostat's home screen is displayed, it means you are connected. You can now replace the Décor-snap cover.
