To drain the water from the Midea MAP14HS1TBL Portable Air Conditioner, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the unit and unplug it from the power source.
2. Move the unit to a drain location, such as a sink or a bucket.
3. Locate the bottom drain plug on the back of the unit.
4. Remove the bottom drain plug to release the water from the collection tray.
5. Allow the water to drain completely.
6. Once the water has drained, reinstall the bottom drain plug securely.
7. Plug in the unit and turn it on. The P1 error code should disappear.
If the P1 error code persists after draining the water, it is recommended to contact customer service for further assistance.
