To drain the water from the Midea MAP14S1TBL Portable Air Conditioner, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the unit and unplug it from the power source.
2. Carefully move the unit to a drain location, ensuring that the bottom drain plug is accessible.
3. Remove the bottom drain plug from the back of the unit.
4. Let the water drain away completely.
5. Reinstall the bottom drain plug securely.
6. Restart the unit and wait for the "P1" symbol to disappear from the display.
If the P1 error code repeats after draining the water, it is recommended to call for service to address any potential issues with the unit.
