To install the WAC Lighting F-056-MB Smart Fans Stella Indoor, follow these steps:
1. Safety Precautions: Before starting the installation, make sure to read and follow all safety rules mentioned in the user guide. Ensure that the fan is not damaged or missing any parts.
2. Mounting Options: Determine the mounting option that suits your installation. The user guide provides examples of different ways to mount the outlet box.
3. Installing the Mounting Bracket: Remove one set xxxx from the mounting bracket and pass the supply wires through it. Secure the mounting bracket to your cUL/UL outlet box using the pre-installed screws.
4. Attaching the Fan Blades: Place the fan blades on the motor housing and secure them with blade attachment screws and washers. Repeat this step for all the blades.
5. Hanging the Fan: Remove the xxxx from the hanger ball and remove the hanger ball and cross pin. Loosen the screws, clevis pin, and cotter pin. Install the coupling cover, canopy xxxx ring, canopy, and downrod assembly into the motor housing. Align the downrod and motor collar holes and re-insert the pins and screws. Slip up the canopy and canopy xxxx cover. Re-install the hanger ball with the cross pin in the correct place. Secure the safety cable into the structure beams using the provided wood xxxx , washers, and spring washers. Slide the receiver facing down.
6. Making the Electrical Connections: Connect the labeled wires from the fan to the corresponding wires on the receiver. Connect the labeled wires from the outlet box to the corresponding wires on the receiver. Ensure that the spliced connectors are turned upward and pushed carefully up into the outlet box. Secure all connections with wire ties, nuts, and electrical tape.
7. Installing the Optional Wall Control: If desired, install the optional wall control by following the provided wiring diagram. Connect the wires from the wall control to the corresponding wires from the wall outlet box. Carefully tuck the wire connections inside the outlet box and secure the wall control and wall mounting plate using the provided screws.
8. Finishing the Installation: Install the canopy to the mounting bracket using the xxxx removed earlier. Twist the canopy into place and install the canopy xxxx ring. If applicable, install the adapter plate and luminaire cover. Finally, install the luminaire module (if included) and shade.
