To connect the Yamaha WXC-50 MusicCast Wireless Streaming Preamplifier to your existing audio system, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your audio system is turned off and unplugged from the power source.
2. Locate the audio output jacks on your existing audio system. These are typically labeled as "Audio Out" or "Line Out."
3. Connect one end of an RCA audio cable to the audio output jacks on your existing audio system.
4. Connect the other end of the RCA audio cable to the "Analog Out" jacks on the back of the Yamaha WXC-50.
5. If you want to use the digital audio output of the Yamaha WXC-50, connect a digital audio cable (such as an optical or coaxial cable) from the "Digital Out" jack on the back of the Yamaha WXC-50 to the corresponding digital audio input on your existing audio system.
6. Once the connections are made, plug in your existing audio system and turn it on.
7. Plug in the power cord of the Yamaha WXC-50 and turn it on.
8. Use the MusicCast app on your smartphone or tablet to set up and configure the Yamaha WXC-50. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the device to your Wi-Fi network and register it with your MusicCast account.
9. Once the setup is complete, you can start streaming music wirelessly to the Yamaha WXC-50 from your smartphone, tablet, or other MusicCast-compatible devices.
