To clean the Cuisinart SPB-650 1-HP Blender, follow these steps:
1. Always unplug the blender from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
2. Remove the blender jar from the motor base by lifting it straight up and away.
3. Remove the blade assembly by turning it counterclockwise.
4. Wash the blade assembly in warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Be careful when handling the sharp blades.
5. Remove the blender jar cover and the measured pour lid. Wash them in warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly. You can also place them in the upper rack of the dishwasher.
6. Wash the blender jar in warm, soapy water and rinse it thoroughly. You can also place the blender jar upside down in the dishwasher.
7. Wipe the motor base clean with a damp cloth to remove any residue and dry it thoroughly. Do not submerge the motor base in water or other liquids or place it in a dishwasher.
Note: You may also clean the blender blade assembly by adding a small amount of dishwashing liquid and warm water to the blender jar. Run the blender on low or high for 15 to 30 seconds. Repeat with clean tap water. Rinse and dry all parts thoroughly.
