To connect the TETHYS TT000074 wireless security camera to your smartphone, follow these steps:
1. Connect your smartphone to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Please note that the camera does not work with 5GHz Wi-Fi networks.
2. Increase the volume on your smartphone.
3. Download and install the MIPC app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
4. Register an account within the MIPC app.
5. Open the MIPC app and choose the PTZ Camera option.
6. Scan the QR Code located underneath the Smart Cam using the app's QR Code scanner (this step is optional).
7. Tap the "Add" button to continue. Do not change or delete the device name/password.
8. For Wi-Fi connection:
a. Plug in the Micro USB Cable into an outlet.
b. Tap the Wi-Fi icon button in the app.
c. After 45 seconds, a chime will sound, and the IR Light on the camera will turn off. Tap the "The prompt tone had been heard" button.
d. Press the RESET button on the camera for 1-2 seconds until you hear a voice prompt.
e. Choose your Wi-Fi connection from the list and enter the password.
Note: Place your smartphone and camera close to the router during the connection process for better signal strength.
9. For Ethernet connection:
a. Plug in the Ethernet Cable.
b. Tap the Ethernet Connection icon button in the app.
c. Wait until the camera is connected. You can change the password and set up Wi-Fi if desired.
