Sure! Here are the step-by-step instructions for installing the ULTRALOQ UL3-BT Smart Lock with WiFi Adaptor Keyless:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to read all the instructions provided in the owner's guide.
2. Do not use a power drill for installation.
3. Install and test the lock with the door open to avoid being locked out.
4. Make sure to follow the instructions in sequential order.
5. The lock is designed for specific operating temperatures: Outside Lock Body: -31°F(-35°C) to 158°F (70°C), Inside Lock Body: 14 °F (-10°C) to 131 °F (55°C).
6. Use AA Alkaline Batteries and do not use Lithium Battery or Rechargeable Battery.
7. Start by preparing the door:
- Measure the door thickness to confirm it is between 1-3/16" - 2" (33 mm-50 mm).
- Measure the diameter of the hole to confirm it is 2-1/8" (53 mm) or 1-1/2" (38mm).
- Measure the backset to confirm it is either 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" (60 mm or 70 mm).
- Measure the diameter of the hole in the door edge to confirm it is 1" (25 mm).
- Measure the depth of the hole in the frame to confirm it is at least 1" (25 mm).
8. Install the Bolt and Strike:
- Install the Bolt into the door, making sure the UP icon is facing up.
- Install the Strike into the door frame.
9. Install the Exterior Assembly:
- Keep the Bolt retracted and the cylinder tail piece horizontal.
- Align the two sticks of the Exterior Assembly with the two holes on the Bolt.
- Pass the cable through the hole below the Bolt.
10. If your door has a 1-1/2" (38 mm) bore hole, remove the spacer.
11. Install the Interior Assembly Mounting Plate:
- Route the cable through the hole on the Interior Assembly Mounting Plate.
- Secure the Interior Assembly Mounting Plate to the Exterior Assembly using Screws D.
12. Install the Interior Assembly:
- Remove the battery cover of the Interior Assembly.
- Insert the connector of the cable into the socket on the Interior Assembly and press it firmly until it is fully seated.
- Rotate the xxxx and keep it in a vertical position to stay unlocked.
- Attach the Interior Assembly to the Mounting Plate and tighten the two screws.
13. Install the batteries and perform the Door Handing Process:
- Rotate the xxxx .
- Insert four AA Alkaline Batteries.
- Install the battery cover.
