To install the WYZE WCGDCB Smart Garage Door Opener, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your existing garage door opener is compatible with the WYZE WCGDCB. You can check compatibility by either checking the color of your garage door opener's "Learn" button or by shorting the terminals used by your current wall button. If shorting the terminals does not open or close your garage door, your opener may be incompatible.
2. Unbox the WYZE WCGDCB package and gather all the components, including the WYZE Garage Door Controller, WYZE Cam v3, QR Code Sticker, Micro USB Cable Splitter, and 5V 2A Power Adapter.
3. Connect the WYZE Cam v3 to the WYZE Garage Door Controller using the Micro USB Cable Splitter.
4. Plug the 5V 2A Power Adapter into a power outlet and connect it to the WYZE Garage Door Controller.
5. Download and install the Wyze app on your smartphone.
6. Open the Wyze app and create an account if you don't have one already.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions in the Wyze app to set up the WYZE WCGDCB Smart Garage Door Opener. This will involve connecting the WYZE Garage Door Controller to your Wi-Fi network and linking it to your Wyze account.
8. Once the setup is complete, you can remotely view, open, and close your garage door using the Wyze app. You can also receive instant notifications if the garage door is left open for a custom set amount of time.
