To connect your Optoma S336 Smart DLP Projector to your laptop, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your laptop and projector are both powered off.
2. Locate the HDMI or VGA port on your laptop. Most laptops have either an HDMI or VGA port for connecting external displays.
3. Connect one end of the HDMI or VGA cable to the corresponding port on your laptop.
4. Locate the HDMI or VGA input port on the back of the projector.
5. Connect the other end of the HDMI or VGA cable to the input port on the projector.
6. Power on your laptop and projector.
7. On your laptop, go to the display settings. This can usually be done by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting "Display settings" or "Graphics options."
8. In the display settings, select the option to extend or duplicate the display. This will allow you to use the projector as an additional display.
9. If necessary, adjust the resolution settings on your laptop to match the native resolution of the projector for optimal image quality.
10. The projector should now be connected to your laptop, and you should see the laptop's display on the projector screen.
