To install the Kwikset ‎99190-001 Smart Lock Electronic Deadbolt, follow these steps:

1. Prepare the door and check dimensions:
- Ensure the door edge is chiseled.
- Hold the latch in front of the door hole, with the latch face flush against the door edge.
- Determine which latch you are installing.
- Check if the D-shaped hole is centered in the door hole.
- Install the strike on the door frame.

2. Install the exterior assembly:
- Determine the diameter of the hole in the door.
- Locate the screws for step 3C and keep them within reach.
