To set up and connect your ecobee EB-STATe3L-01 Lite Thermostat to your home Wi-Fi network, please follow the steps below:
1. Ensure that your thermostat is properly installed and powered on.
2. On the thermostat's main screen, select the "Menu" button.
3. From the menu, select "Wi-Fi."
4. Choose "Network" and then select "Add Network."
5. The thermostat will start scanning for available Wi-Fi networks.
6. Once the scan is complete, a list of available networks will be displayed.
7. Select your home Wi-Fi network from the list.
8. If your network is password-protected, you will be prompted to enter the Wi-Fi password. Use the thermostat's touch screen to input the password.
9. After entering the password, select "Connect."
10. The thermostat will attempt to connect to your Wi-Fi network. Once connected, you will see a confirmation message on the screen.
11. To verify the connection, you can check the Wi-Fi signal strength icon on the thermostat's main screen. A strong signal indicates a successful connection.
