Sure! Here are the step-by-step instructions for installing the ULTRALOQ U-BOLT-PRO-UB01 Deadbolt Bridge WiFi Adaptor:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to read all the instructions provided in the user manual.
2. Do not use a power drill for installation.
3. Install and test the lock with the door open to avoid being locked out.
4. Make sure to follow the instructions in sequential order.
5. The lock is designed for specific operating temperatures. The outside lock body can withstand temperatures from -31°F to 158°F (-35°C to 70°C), while the inside lock body can withstand temperatures from 14°F to 131°F (-10°C to 55°C).
6. Use AA Alkaline Batteries for the lock and do not use Lithium Battery or Rechargeable Battery.
7. Register your account at www.u-tec.com/register.html for the best service.
Now, let's move on to the installation process:
1. Prepare the door by checking its dimensions. Measure the door thickness, hole diameter, backset, diameter of the hole in the door edge, and depth of the hole in the frame.
2. Install the Bolt into the door, making sure the UP icon is facing up.
3. Install the Strike into the door frame.
4. Carefully break off the cylinder tailpiece at the required mark for your door thickness.
5. Keep the Bolt retracted and the cylinder tailpiece horizontal. Install the Exterior Assembly without inserting the mechanical key.
6. Align the two sticks of the Exterior Assembly with the two holes on the Bolt. The cable should go through the hole below the Bolt.
7. Route the cable through the hole on the Interior Assembly Mounting Plate.
8. Secure the Interior Assembly Mounting Plate to the Exterior Assembly using Screws D.
9. Remove the battery cover of the Interior Assembly.
10. Insert the connector of the cable into the socket on the Interior Assembly.
11. Rotate the xxxx and keep it in a vertical position to keep the lock unlocked.
12. Attach the Interior Assembly to the Mounting Plate and tighten 2 Screws E.
13. Now, it's time to install the batteries and perform the door handing process. Rotate the xxxx and keep it in a horizontal position to keep the lock locked. Insert 4 AA Alkaline Batteries. After a few seconds, the Bolt will retract and extend on its own to learn the orientation of the door. This is an important step for the lock's operation. Install the battery cover.
