To configure setpoints for batching on the RICE LAKE 920i indicator with the 882IS/882IS Plus, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have the necessary hardware and software requirements as mentioned in the manual.
2. Install the jumper wire from J9 pin 2 to J11 pin 3 on the CPU board of the 920i indicator.
3. Wire the serial cable from J10 on the 920i CPU board to J3 on the fiber optic to serial converter, making the necessary connections for RS-232 or RS-422 communication.
4. Connect the fiber optic cables to the fiber optic to serial converter and the 882IS/882IS Plus indicator, ensuring there are no sharp bends in the cables.
5. Download and install the iRite special program and iRev file for the 920i indicator.
6. Enable the 920i indicator Configuration mode by removing the setup xxxx and pressing the setup switch.
7. Use iRev to connect to the 920i indicator and download the configuration files (201804.920 and 201804.cod) to the indicator.
8. Configure the setpoints on the 920i indicator by navigating to SCALES -> SETPTS -> SP CFG -> BATCHNG and entering the desired values, source, and batching settings for each setpoint.
9. Enable the 882IS/882IS Plus indicator Configuration mode by pressing the appropriate button or removing the setup xxxx and pressing the setup switch.
10. Configure the setpoints on the 882IS/882IS Plus indicator by navigating to Setpoints and entering the desired values for each setpoint.
11. Save and exit the configuration on both indicators.
12. The 882IS/882IS Plus F-keys and the 920i softkeys can now be used to control the batching operation.
