Cleaning the Conair TS184X Handheld Fabric Steamer is a simple process. Here are the steps to clean the steamer:
1. Ensure that the steamer is unplugged and completely cooled down before cleaning.
2. Remove the steamer head by twisting it counterclockwise and lifting it off.
3. Empty any remaining water from the reservoir.
4. Clean the reservoir by wiping it with a damp cloth or sponge. Do not immerse the steamer in water or use any abrasive cleaners.
5. If there are any mineral deposits or buildup inside the reservoir, you can use a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water to remove them. Fill the reservoir with the vinegar-water solution, let it sit for a few minutes, and then empty it. Rinse the reservoir thoroughly with clean water.
6. Wipe the exterior of the steamer with a damp cloth or sponge.
