To install the hygger HG-987 Aquarium Auto Top-Off System, please follow these steps:
1. Mount the ATO on the tank and ensure it is in line with the water level.
2. Clean the fish tank where you plan to place the monitor and the part being placed inside the tank. Make sure to place the monitor away from air bubbles and position it horizontally.
3. Install the hose holder in the tank.
4. Connect one side of the soft hose to the pump and the other side to the hose. Note that the soft hose should always be higher than the water level to prevent siphoning.
5. Connect the refill pump to the monitor and place the pump in the reserve tank.
6. Place the external sensor in the reserve water tank and plug it in.
7. Plug in the power adapter.
8. All indicators will flash a couple of times, and then the device will enter the refilling mode automatically. If the indicators keep flashing or flashing simultaneously with an alarm, lift the external monitor and re-calibrate it.
9. The installation is now complete. The ATO will automatically refill the water to the set level when the water in the aquarium is lower than the water level on the device. If the water level is higher than the internal monitor, the equipment will alarm and stop the water pump. Pressing the M button can suspend or restart the refilling process.
10. To drain water, unplug the jack of the refill water pump and plug it into the jack of the drain water pump. Place the drain pump from the reservoir tank to the aquarium, put the soft hose into the wastewater container, and long-press the M button to start draining water. Pressing the M button can suspend or restart the drain water process. Long-pressing the M button will switch back to the refilling state.
