To install the ITC Acute Flex Light, follow these steps:
1. Determine the installation location and clean the surface using alcohol wipes (not provided). Ensure the surface is free from any dirt or debris.
2. Start at the wired end of the light and begin peeling back the tape.
3. Press the light in place on the cleaned surface. As you go along, continue peeling the paper backing. It is recommended to only pull back a few inches at a time to prevent the tape light from sticking to itself.
4. The light can be bent at a 90° angle, but it should only be bent as shown in the provided diagram. Bending the light on the LEDs or smaller curves may result in damage.
5. Follow the wiring diagram provided in the manual to wire the light to your system.
6. Ensure that the power is disconnected before installing, adding, or changing any component.
Please note that the ITC Acute Flex Light is not rated for wet location installation and should not be installed closer than 6" from any combustible materials. It is also important to account for all parts and destroy all packing materials to avoid hazards to children. Additionally, the light is susceptible to damage by electrostatic discharge, so handle it with care.
For more information or specific guidelines, please refer to the ITC Acute Flex Light Instruction Manual.
