To connect the Time Electronics 1071 Capacitance Decade Box to your circuit, follow these steps:
1. Use 4 mm safety terminal posts on the front panel of the box for connection.
2. Choose between using 4 mm shrouded or standard plugs, crocodile clips, or stripped wire connections.
3. Ensure that the connection is tight to the terminal posts to avoid introducing instability to the capacitance reading.
4. The red and black active terminals on the box should be connected to the capacitance elements in your circuit.
5. The green terminal is connected to the case for screening purposes.
6. If desired, you can connect the case terminal to either of the active terminals for certain applications. However, this can be hazardous, and safety precautions must be taken to prevent electric shock.
