To connect the JVC KS-DR1004D Compact 4 Channel Amplifier to your car stereo, you have two options: RCA INPUT connection or SPEAKER INPUT connection.
For RCA INPUT connection:
1. Connect the battery wire.
2. Connect the ground wire to the chassis ground of the vehicle.
3. Connect the power control wire.
4. Connect the speakers.
5. Connect the DC cable into the connector at KS-DR1004D.
6. Connect the RCA cable.
For SPEAKER INPUT connection:
1. Connect the battery wire.
2. Connect the ground wire to the chassis ground of the vehicle.
3. Connect the speakers.
4. Connect the DC cable into the connector at KS-DR1004D.
5. Cut off the RCA cable, then connect the correct corresponding speaker output from the FACTORY INSTALLED HEAD UNIT directly.
