To clean the Bestron DFA40Z Retro floor fan, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the fan from the wall socket.
2. Release the clips around the rim of the fan housing.
3. Use a small crosshead screwdriver to remove the crosshead xxxx at the bottom of the fan housing.
4. Remove the front of the fan housing.
5. Clean the fan blades with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly with a dry cloth.
6. If necessary, clean the motor housing with a dry cloth or brush.
7. Reassemble the front of the fan housing, making sure that the fork on the fan housing rim hooks into the rim on the fixed half of the fan housing. Also, ensure that the holes for the crosshead xxxx are in line with each other.
8. Fit the crosshead xxxx and tighten it with a crosshead screwdriver.
9. Close the clips around the rim of the fan housing, ensuring that the front and back halves of the fan housing are secured to each other along the entire circumference.
Important: Verify that the appliance is not connected to the power supply before you clean it. Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes) to clean the appliance.
