To activate the LiveTracking feature on the ProteGear A*LIVE LiveTracker Smart Safety Tool, follow these steps:
1. Before the first start-up, select a data plan at alive.protegear.com. This is necessary to enable the LiveTracking feature.
2. Forward the LiveTracking link to your friends so they can view your position.
3. Adapt the SmartSafety and TripShare settings according to your preferences.
4. Before each use, make sure the device is charged. Refer to the charging instructions on the last page of the user guide.
5. Switch on the device by pressing and holding the power button for 5 seconds when you are outdoors.
6. Check if the TRACK and GSM/SAT indicators are green. This indicates that the device has a GPS signal and is ready for LiveTracking.
7. If the indicators are green, you can view your position in LiveTracking by accessing the provided link.
Please note that LiveTracking should be used as an additional communication tool and should not replace other security measures or encourage risky behavior.
