To change the voltage setting on the Sharper Image SI-755 steam iron, follow these steps:
1. Locate the Voltage Selector, which is recessed inside a slot at the rear of the Main Body of the iron.
2. Note the open notch in the middle of the Voltage Selector.
3. Find a tool with a fine tip, such as a pen.
4. Carefully insert the tip of the pen into the white notch of the Voltage Selector.
5. Slide the Voltage Selector to the right, towards the 220V label. Be sure to move it as far to the right as possible for the voltage setting to take effect correctly.
6. The unit is now set for use in a 220V region. If you need to set it back to 120V, simply reverse steps 4 and 5, sliding the Voltage Selector as far to the left (towards the 120V label) as possible.
Please note that it is important to confirm the voltage available at your location before changing the voltage setting on the steam iron. Using the incorrect voltage setting can damage the iron and void the warranty.
