To connect external sources to the Cambridge Audio SR10 AM-FM Stereo Receiver Amplifier, follow these steps:
1. CD Player: Use a pair of RCA cables to connect the audio outputs of your CD player to one of the "Audio Inputs" on the rear panel of the SR10. Make sure to match the left and right channels correctly.
2. Turntable: If your turntable has a built-in phono preamp, you can connect it to one of the "Audio Inputs" on the rear panel using RCA cables. If your turntable does not have a built-in preamp, you will need to connect it to the dedicated "Phono Input" on the rear panel, which has a built-in phono stage.
3. Other Audio Sources: For other audio sources, such as a portable media player or MP3 player, you can use the front panel "MP3 Input" socket. Simply connect your device using a 3.5mm stereo-jack cable.
Remember to select the corresponding input source on the front panel or remote control of the SR10 to listen to the desired audio source.
Please refer to the "Rear Panel Connections" section of the user manual for a visual guide and additional information on connecting external sources.
