To connect your Cambridge Audio Topaz AM10 amplifier to your speakers, follow these steps:
1. Identify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on your speakers.
2. Locate the loudspeaker terminals on the rear panel of the amplifier.
3. Connect the wires from your left channel speaker to the Left positive and negative terminals on the amplifier. Ensure that the positive wire from the speaker is connected to the positive terminal on the amplifier, and the negative wire is connected to the negative terminal.
4. Repeat the same process for the right channel speaker, connecting the wires to the Right positive and negative terminals on the amplifier.
5. Ensure that the speaker wires are securely connected and there are no loose ends or frayed wires.
6. Once the connections are made, turn on the amplifier and your speakers.
It is important to note that the Cambridge Audio Topaz AM10 amplifier is compatible with speakers that have an impedance of between 4 and 8 ohms. Make sure to check the impedance of your speakers before connecting them to the amplifier.
