To connect the j5create JCD387 Ultradrive Kit USB-C Dual Display Modular Dock to your laptop, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your laptop has an available USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt mode and USB Power Delivery (PD) support.
2. Connect the USB-C end of the included cable to the USB-C port on your laptop.
3. Connect the other end of the cable to the USB-C port on the main body of the dock.
4. If you want to connect dual displays, connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the main body of the dock, and connect the other end to the HDMI input of your first display.
5. If you want to connect a second display, connect one end of another HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the adapter, and connect the other end to the HDMI input of your second display.
6. If you have any high-powered USB devices, connect the USB-C power adapter to the PD port on the main body of the dock to ensure maximum performance.
7. Once all the connections are made, turn on your laptop and the displays. Your laptop should detect the dock and displays automatically.
