To install the SUNCO LIGHTING LED Spec Select Designer Full Cutoff Wall Pack, follow these steps:
1. Start by removing the two screws and disconnecting the connector to separate the housing from the rear cover.
2. If you have a 4" recessed J-box, verify that the power is off and the J-box is securely mounted. Remove the fasteners from the J-box and drill holes in the rear cover as needed for mounting. Position the rear cover over the J-box, feed the supply wires through the center of the rear cover, and replace the fasteners. Use a contractor level to ensure the rear cover is level and fully tighten the fasteners.
3. If you are using conduit (stub up/surface), drill holes on the rear cover as auxiliary mounting holes. Verify that the power is off and use a contractor level to ensure the rear cover is level. Mark the mounting surface through the selected auxiliary mounting holes and install appropriate mounting anchors. Fully tighten the fasteners and attach 1/2" NPT conduit fittings using the appropriate EMT rain-tight compression connections.
4. Make the power supply wire connections to the fixture wire through the splice access. Follow the wiring directions shown in Figure 3.
5. Re-install the housing cover by aligning the fixture housing indicators with the rear cover hooks and inserting the connector.
6. The fixture has field adjustable wattage and color temperature. Locate the two slide switches near the driver inside the fixture. Select the desired wattage and color temperature by sliding the switches left or right to the desired values.
7. Close the housing to the rear cover and fully tighten the screws. Apply weatherproof silicone sealant between the wall and housing for a weatherproof installation.
