To clean the grease filters of the INVENTUM AKI6005RVS Built-In Cooker Hood, follow these steps:
1. Switch off the electricity and disconnect the cooker hood from the mains power supply.
2. Remove the plug from the socket or interrupt the power supply by switching off the fuse in the group box.
3. Pull the metal grease filter towards you and tilt it downwards at the front. Make sure you guide the grease filter with your other hand to prevent it from falling down on your cooking appliance.
4. Clean the grease filter either by hand or in the dishwasher on a low temperature. Use warm soapy water and a soft cloth to clean it by hand. Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents.
5. If you clean the grease filter in the dishwasher, be aware that it may cause discoloration, but this does not affect its operation.
6. After cleaning, make sure the grease filter is completely dry before placing it back.
7. Replace the grease filter by sliding it back into its original position.
It is recommended to clean the grease filters at least once a month to prevent fire hazards. Failure to clean the grease filters on time can increase the risk of fire.
