To connect the Lenco LS-500 V2 Turntable with Built-In Amplifier to your stereo system, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the turntable is in the correct mode. Press the MODE button to select "turntable mode" and ensure that the indicator light is red.
2. Locate the RCA Jacks on the turntable. These jacks serve as both the phone output and line output jacks. The mode is determined by the Phono/Line Switch.
3. If you want to connect the turntable directly to active speakers or the appropriate input on your stereo system, set the Phono/Line switch to the LINE position. Connect the Red plug to the Right channel and the White plug to the Left channel of your stereo system.
Note: If you connect the RCA jacks to the phono input of your stereo system while the Phono/Line switch is set to LINE position, the sound may be distorted and could potentially damage your stereo system.
4. If you want to connect the turntable to the phono input of your stereo system, set the Phono/Line switch to the PHONO position. Connect the Red plug to the Right channel and the White plug to the Left channel of your stereo system.
Note: If you connect the RCA jacks to the line input of your stereo system while the Phono/Line switch is set to PHONO position, the volume will be very low due to the lack of signal pre-amplification.
5. Ensure that the turntable is properly connected to your stereo system and that all connections are secure.
