To clean the griddle top on the VULCAN V4B36B Open Burner Stainless Steel Range, follow these steps:
1. After each use, clean the griddle with a wire brush or a flexible spatula to remove any food residue or grease.
2. On a daily basis, thoroughly clean the backsplash, sides, and front of the griddle. Remove the grease drawer, empty it, and wash it out with soap and water.
3. Clean the griddle surface thoroughly using a griddle stone, wire brush, or stainless steel wool. Rub with the grain of the metal while the griddle is still warm. You can use a detergent on the plate surface to help clean it, but make sure to thoroughly remove the detergent.
4. Clean stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and polish with a soft dry cloth. If there are any discolorations, use a non-abrasive cleaner to remove them, always rubbing with the grain of the metal.
It is important to keep the griddle plate surface clean to ensure even cooking and prevent carbonized grease from hindering heat transfer. Regular cleaning and maintenance will help keep your griddle top in optimal condition.
