To install the SUNCO LIGHTING 833XX LED Slim Cutoff Wall Pack, please follow the instructions provided in the manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Find a qualified electrician: It is recommended to seek the assistance of a licensed electrician for the installation process.
2. Read the instructions: Before starting the installation, carefully read and understand the instructions provided in the manual.
3. Disconnect power: To avoid electric shock or component damage, make sure to disconnect the power before attempting any installation or servicing.
4. National Electric Code (NEC): This product must be installed in accordance with the NEC and all applicable federal, state, and local electric codes and safety standards.
5. Allow cooling: Prior to servicing, disconnect the product and allow it to cool down.
6. No alteration or modification: Altering or modifying the product is strictly forbidden as it may result in personal injury, property damage, or product malfunction.
7. Proper grounding: To prevent product malfunction and electrical shock, ensure that the product is properly grounded.
8. Wall mount only: This product is designed for wall mounting only.
9. Mounting: Loosen the xxxx on the side of the fixture, open it, and attach it to the wall using the installation holes. Close the fixture and lock the xxxx .
10. Wiring: Complete the wiring to the power source and ground. The universal voltage driver allows operation at 100V to 277VAC, 50 or 60Hz, except for fixtures factory ordered with a 120V photocell. Connect the black fixture line to the Live line supply wire, the white fixture line to the Neutral line supply wire, and the green fixture line to the Ground line supply ground.
11. Cleaning and maintenance: Ensure that the fixture temperature is cool enough to touch before cleaning or maintaining it. Clean the lens and fixture with a non-abrasive glass cleaning solution. Do not touch or open the fixture to clean the LED.
12. Troubleshooting: If you encounter any issues, check that the line voltage at the fixture is correct and ensure that the fixture is properly grounded.
