Filling the water tank of the CHI Steam 13130 Iron is a simple process. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Make sure the iron is unplugged and cool before filling the water tank.
2. Locate the water tank on the iron. It is usually located at the back or side of the iron.
3. Remove the water tank cap by twisting it counterclockwise.
4. Fill the water tank with clean tap water or distilled water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line indicated on the tank.
5. Replace the water tank cap by twisting it clockwise until it is securely tightened.
6. Plug in the iron and wait for it to heat up. The iron will use the water from the tank to produce steam for ironing.
Note: It is important to use clean tap water or distilled water to prevent mineral buildup in the iron. Avoid using chemically descaled water, perfumed water, water from the dryer, vinegar, starch, descaling agents, ironing aids, or other chemicals, as they may cause water to spit, brown stains on your clothing, or damage to your steam iron.
