To set up your DrayTek VDSL2 Security Router for internet access, follow these steps:
1. Connect the DSL port of the router to your modem or the DSL port of an external splitter/microfilter using an RJ-11 line cable.
2. Connect a LAN port of the router to your computer or switch using an Ethernet cable.
3. Connect the power adapter to the router's power socket and plug it into a power outlet.
4. Turn on the router using the power switch.
5. Open a web browser on your computer and enter "https://192.168.1.1" in the address bar.
6. You may see a warning about the router's certificate. Follow the prompts to proceed to the router's web interface.
7. Enter the default username and password (admin/admin) to log in to the router's web interface.
8. Once logged in, go to the "WAN" section and select the appropriate connection type based on your ISP's requirements (PPPoE, DHCP, etc.).
9. Enter the necessary details provided by your ISP, such as username, password, and IP settings.
10. Save the settings and restart the router when prompted.
11. After the router restarts, it should establish an internet connection. You can check the connection status in the "Online Status" section.
