Cleaning your Jiffy Steamer J-2000 Garment with Plastic Steam Head is important to remove sediment build-up and maintain its performance. Here are the instructions for cleaning:
1. Unplug the steamer from the power outlet and allow it to cool down for a few minutes.
2. Pour out any remaining water from the steamer.
3. Fill the steamer with 4 ounces of water.
4. Plug in the steamer and let it heat up until it produces steam.
5. Unplug the steamer and allow it to cool down for 2 minutes.
6. Pour out the water from the steamer.
7. Pour in 5 ounces (1/2 bottle) of Jiffy Steamer Liquid Cleaner into the steamer. Do not steam the unit with the liquid cleaner.
8. Leave the liquid cleaner in the steamer for 3 hours.
9. Pour out the liquid cleaner solution from the steamer.
10. Scrub the inside of the steamer with a stiff-bristled brush to remove any excess sediment.
11. Flush the steamer with fresh water three times to remove any remaining cleaner.
12. Resume using the steamer as normal.
