To install the Niles CSF48A Passive Bar System, follow these steps:
1. Cut a rectangular opening in the drywall according to the dimensions provided in the user guide.
2. Install the In-Wall Mounting System below and centered with a wall-mounted flat panel TV.
3. Route the speaker wires from the AV receiver into the wall and then to each speaker location.
4. Position the Speaker Modules in the In-Wall Mounting System, ensuring proper alignment with the TV.
5. Connect the speaker wires to the Speaker Modules, observing proper positive and negative polarity.
6. Secure the In-Wall Mounting System by tightening the screws on the xxxx Down Slide Brackets and Clamp Down End Brackets.
7. Install the In-Wall Power Supply Box (for powered models only) below or behind the TV, adjacent to an AC outlet.
8. Route the necessary cables, such as the 24V AC power supply wire and audio cables, to the Amplifier Module location.
9. Position the Amplifier Module and optional Niles SWT (wireless subwoofer transmitter) in the In-Wall Mounting System.
10. Connect the speaker wires and other cables to the Amplifier Module, following the system diagrams provided in the user guide.
11. Install the In Between Covers and Joiners to fill the empty spaces in the In-Wall Mounting System.
12. Attach the Speaker Grille magnetically to the In-Wall Mounting System, adjusting its position as needed.
13. Test the system before completing the installation by plugging in the AC power cord and ensuring proper operation.
