To connect the TELTONIKA RUTX08 wired router to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Connect the power adapter: Plug one end of the power adapter into the socket on the front of the device and the other end into a power outlet.
2. Connect via Ethernet cable: Use an Ethernet cable to connect your computer to the LAN port on the router. The LAN port is located on the back of the device.
3. Login to the router's Web interface: Open your internet browser and type http://192.168.1.1 into the URL field. This will take you to the router's Web interface.
4. Enter login information: When prompted for authentication, use the login information shown in image A of the user guide.
5. Change the password: After logging in, you will be prompted to change the default password for security reasons. The new password must contain at least 8 characters, including at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one digit.
6. Setup Wizard: Once you change the password, the Configuration Wizard will start. Follow the prompts to set up the router's main operating parameters. Choose your time zone and sync the router's time with the browser if needed. Default LAN settings are recommended unless you have specific requirements for your LAN network.
