To assemble the Teknik 5421416 Organizer Hutch, follow these steps:
Step 1: Assemble the unit on a carpeted floor or on the empty carton to avoid scratching. Attach a right extension rail/slide to the divider using two silver 1/2" flat head screws. Turn over the divider and attach a left extension rail/slide using two silver 1/2" flat head screws.
Step 2: Attach the remaining left extension rail/slide to the left end using two silver 1/2" flat head screws. Attach the remaining right extension rail/slide to the right end using two silver 1/2" flat head screws.
Step 3: Turn eight cam screws into the ends.
Step 4: Attach the uprights to the shelf using four silver 1-3/16" flat head screws.
Step 5: Push two hidden cams into the divider. Turn two cam screws into the shelf. Attach the divider to the shelf and tighten the hidden cams.
Step 6: Position the uprights and attach the back to the uprights and divider using three silver 1-3/16" flat head screws.
Step 7: Lay the unit on the back. Push eight hidden cams into the shelf and back. Attach the ends to the shelf and back and tighten the hidden cams.
Step 8: Turn eight cam screws into the top.
Step 9: Push eight hidden cams into the ends and uprights. Attach the top to the ends and uprights and tighten the hidden cams.
Step 10: Turn eight cam screws into the drawer fronts. Attach a xxxx to each drawer front using two silver 11/16" machine screws.
Step 11: Attach the drawer sides to the drawer backs using eight silver 1-3/16" flat head screws.
Step 12: Push eight hidden cams into the drawer sides. Slide the drawer bottoms into the grooves in the drawer sides and backs. Attach the drawer fronts to the drawer sides and tighten the hidden cams.
Step 13: Carefully turn the unit onto its back edges. Slide the drawers between the ends and divider. Attach the extension rails/slides to the drawer sides using eight silver 1/2" flat head screws.
Step 14: Carefully stand the unit upright. Peel cam covers from the cam cover cards and stick them onto the visible hidden cams.
Step 15: The hutch is designed to attach to the 421405 Open Storage Cabinet and 421407 Storage Cabinet. Set the hutch on top of the unit and attach the connector plates to the hutch ends and then to the top and ends of the storage cabinets using ten silver 13/16" pan head screws.
