To properly set up and secure your FHFFIRETRK071L Fraser Hill Farm Christmas Tree inflatable, follow these steps:
1. Find a flat area of either grass or gravel for your inflatable. Avoid setting it up on a slope as it may prevent proper inflation and pose a safety hazard. Ensure the area is clear of leaves, loose dirt, and standing water.
2. Carefully remove the inflatable and included items from the box. Set aside the stakes, ropes, and clips for later use.
3. Lay the inflatable out on the ground with the fan located on the back side.
4. Make sure the deflation zipper on the back of the inflatable is closed. Plug the fan into a Class A GFCI-protected receptacle to start inflating the inflatable.
5. During the first inflation, help the inflatable inflate properly by ensuring all extremities are positioned correctly and untangling any twists. For taller inflatables, connect the tie downs to the upper fabric or metal loops before fully inflating.
6. Once fully inflated, locate all the tie-down points around the base. Insert stakes through the loops and press them about 2/3 of the way into the ground. These stakes help hold the inflatable upright and prevent it from being moved by the wind.
7. For inflatables under 9 feet tall, install at least three upper tie downs. For inflatables over 10 feet tall, install four or more upper tie downs, depending on the size of the inflatable.
8. Attach each rope to a clip and connect the clip to the upper fabric or metal loops. If clips are not included, tie each rope directly to the loop. Tie the ropes to additional ground stakes and secure them about 2/3 of the way into the ground.
9. To achieve a proper 45-degree angle, the stake distance (SD) from the inflatable should be roughly equal to the loop height (LH) on the inflatable. For example, if the loop height is 6 feet, the stake should be placed 6 feet away from the inflatable.
10. To fully secure your inflatable, install the upper tie downs according to the provided graphic. Two of the side tie downs must angle forward by at least 30 degrees. Adjust stakes as needed to ensure the inflatable is fully upright and positioned correctly. Push all stakes fully into the ground when the inflatable is correctly positioned.
Remember to always read and follow the product setup instructions carefully and refer to the provided manual for any additional information or troubleshooting steps.
