If you have the RK 501/SU model, which has a tension selection switch, you need to verify the correct voltage setting before using the hot plate. The voltage selection switch allows you to choose between 115V and 230V. Make sure to set the switch to the appropriate voltage based on your power supply. Using the wrong voltage setting can damage the appliance. Refer to the technical data section of the instruction manual for more information on the voltage settings for each model.
