Yes, the GE LIGHTING CYNC Smart LED Light Bulbs can be controlled using both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The bulbs have both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options. Bluetooth is used for proximity control when you are within range, while Wi-Fi is required for remote control and management of the bulbs. During the initial setup, a Wi-Fi connection is necessary. Please note that Direct Connect bulbs can be controlled outside of the home, but a Wi-Fi connection is still required to use Direct Connect products.
