To clean the Cuisinart SPB-7CH SmartPower Electronic Blender, follow these steps:
1. Always unplug the blender from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
2. Remove the blender jar from the motor base by lifting it straight up and away.
3. Twist off the locking ring by turning it counterclockwise.
4. Remove the cutting assembly and rubber gasket from the blender jar.
5. Wash the cutting assembly, rubber gasket, and locking ring in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry them thoroughly.
6. Wash the blender jar cover and the measured pour lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry them thoroughly or place them in the dishwasher's upper rack.
7. Wash the blender jar in warm soapy water and rinse it thoroughly. The blender jar can also be placed upside down in the dishwasher.
8. Wipe the motor base clean with a damp cloth to remove any residue. Make sure the motor base is completely dry before using it again.
Note: Handle the cutting assembly carefully as it is sharp and may cause injury. Do not attempt to remove the blades from the cutting assembly.
It is important to clean each part thoroughly after every use. Periodically check all parts before reassembly. If any part is damaged or if the blender jar is chipped or cracked, do not use the blender.
