To clean the water tank of the Sunbeam 32610031 steam iron, please follow these steps:
1. Unplug the iron and allow it to cool down completely.
2. Remove any remaining water from the water tank by pouring it out.
3. Fill the water tank halfway with warm water.
4. Gently shake the iron to loosen any mineral buildup inside the tank.
5. Empty the water tank and rinse it thoroughly with clean water. Do not use detergent.
6. If there is stubborn mineral buildup, you can use a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water to soak the water tank for a few hours. Then rinse it thoroughly with clean water.
7. Wipe the exterior of the iron with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or residue.
8. Once the water tank is clean and dry, you can refill it with water before using the iron again.
Note: Regularly cleaning the water tank of your steam iron helps prevent mineral buildup and ensures optimal performance. It is recommended to clean the water tank every one to two months or as needed.
